FYI: Defending our children is not just my calling as a school administrator—it is also my legal obligation.
The District of Columbia mayor launched a “white savior” crusade to shut down anyone opposing her mandated program and or exposing corruption in DC Public Schools (DCPS).
How much longer will DC’s children be sacrificed to this betrayal?
Warning: What you’re about to read may sound unbelievable—please don’t take my word for it. Please dig deeper, do your own research, or ask questions.
Systemic segregation. Shameless inequality. Corruption fueled by outright extortion and shameless profiteering from the suffering of Black students—that’s the real legacy of Mayor Bowser who has mayoral control over DCPS. This is exploitation on full display, mandated by the mayor and ignored by those in power.
Fueled by an insatiable obsession with boosting test scores for improved approval rating, the Bowser administration handpicked outsiders as senior leaders to control predominantly Black elementary schools in the city’s most impoverished Wards. These leaders had no loyalty to DC or its Black communities; their own children never set foot in our public schools.
Our mayor unleashed these operative to inflict reckless, overtly racist experiments exclusively upon Black and low-income elementary students, defying parental consent and overriding fierce resistance from Black educators and the community.
The program's own co-founder unequivocally confessed: "our practices perpetuated white supremacy and anti-Blackness." This damning admission lays bare the mayor's egregious betrayal of the entire community—parents and children alike—a calculated maneuver to inflate her political standing.
This outrageous failure has negatively altered the educational trajectory of thousands of Black children—permanently. The Bowser administration, which orchestrated this deliberate harm, remains silent even after being fully exposed. Despite senior DCPS leaders admitting to more than 25 ethical violations—including extortion and profiteering—the mayor and her team refuse to acknowledge or answer for their crimes.
DCPS senior leaders openly confess to wrongdoing , yet they walk away with minor fines and unscathed careers, while thousands of our children lose opportunities they can never get back.
As a DC resident, I cannot cast my vote for Muriel Bowser.
