Do you often feel physically energized but mentally exhausted?  Well, I can relate to that.

I find that my mind is constantly racing, so I've learned the importance of taking a break and allowing myself to rest and reset.

For me, a simple meditation technique does the trick.

One method I like to use is rubbing my thumb and middle finger together in either a back-and-forth or circular motion on both hands simultaneously. Initially, I start with fast movements to match the pace of my busy mind.

As I gradually slow down the motion of my fingers, I notice that my mind begins to calm as well. My focus shifts towards feeling the texture between my fingertips.

This technique works for me whether it's done with closed eyes during solitude or open eyes in situations such as meetings or while driving when quick mental relaxation is needed.

When practicing this before responding out of anger, it allows me to communicate in a more thoughtful and composed manner without losing the impact.
